Absolutely! You can view our team of guides and select who you’d like to accompany you when booking, allowing you to choose your ideal mix of security experience and unique local knowledge. If your chosen guide isn’t available, we’ll offer another trusted guide with a similar profile.

Are your guides bilingual?

Yes! All our guides are fluent in both English and Spanish. With AZ, you don’t need to speak Spanish to travel to Medellín and navigate the city comfortably and confidently.

Do you offer female guides?

Should I book a Personal Safety Guide or VIP Host?

This depends on your plans and your level of comfort. VIP Hosts are great for exploring the city, visiting attractions, or completing daily tasks. Is a Personal Safety Guide a bodyguard?

Our Personal Safety Guides are different than a traditional bodyguard. While they have years of professional security experience, they also bring unique local insights to the table. When you want them to fade into the background and watch your back, they will. But ask for their advice and they’ll reveal things most tourists miss in Medellín.

Are the prices listed per person or total?

The prices shown are total, not per person. Each guide service cost covers up to four people. For groups of five or more, an additional guide will be required.

Can I book a driver to get around?

Yes! While it’s not a standalone offering, a personal driver can be added to our other services for $25 per hour. Alternatively, we are happy to provide advice on ride sharing services like Uber, taxis, car rentals, and when and where using public transportation is safe.

How far in advance should I book?

You can book our Personal Safety Guides and consultations anytime – even same day. We’re designed for on-demand assistance, and our team usually responds within minutes.
